In my last role with Standard Chartered Bank ("SCB") in Bangladesh, I used to cover businesses with Public sector clients, Development Financing Institutions and International banks as Senior Relationship Manager, Global Banking. In Bangladesh, I worked in corporate & investment banking and structured finance roles in multiple financial institutions for around 11 years (2007-2018), responsible for corporate financing and relationship management, credit and risk analysis, loan syndication, bond & private equity arrangement and advisory on mergers & acquisitions for reputed corporate entities from segments like manufacturing, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, infrastructure, telecommunication, aviation and financial institutions. During that period, I was part of some of the largest debt (i.e. BDT & USD loans, subordinated bonds) syndication transactions in Bangladesh and was involved in raising over USD 1 bio equivalent financing from onshore and offshore sources. I worked in Loan syndication team of SCB, London, UK on attachment during 2011. I was also a member of the Sovereign Advisory team (from SCB) for the Government of Bangladesh during 2010-11; and a key member of the Corporate Advisory team (from BRAC EPL Investments Ltd) to Dhaka Stock Exchange in preparing the Demutualization Scheme, Business plan and Valuation memorandum for Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission in 2013. I have received numerous professional training abroad and attended international seminars (i.e.BOI Investment Roadshow 2015, London). I completed Executive MBA (Major: Finance) from Institute of Business Administration,University of Dhaka as the "Gold medalist and Valedictorian"​ of the program.
