I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work to create more opportunities for myself, in order to continue to empower the people in our community. I have a strong interest in working with our youth and their families. I have experience working with African American at risk youth, foster care/ adoption, young mothers and mental health. I hold a strong belief that our children are our future and with enough education and support, they can break through all barriers and achieve anything. Upon graduation in May of 2017, I am determined to venture into the field and pursue licensure to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am currently open to any volunteer opportunities, summer employment or internships.
