In 2020, I received my PhD in Soft Robotics from Hiroshima University, where I dedicated my research to developing several applications focused on soft assistive technologies for the elderly and differently-abled individuals. Following the completion of my PhD, I served as an Assistant Professor for a year and a half, where I had the opportunity to mentor Master and PhD students in the field of soft robotics research. In 2022, I joined the R&D team at Lifehub, a robotics startup focused on developing a barrier-free robotic wheelchair. My team's primary responsibility was to create simulation models and deploy control algorithms using ROS2. As an R&D Engineer, I was also responsible for testing the feasibility of the control algorithms in the real machine. My experience in soft robotics research and my work at Lifehub have allowed me to apply my knowledge to real-world problems, and I am excited to continue contributing to the field of robotics through my work at LexxPluss.
