This required I work closely with the criminal justice, GAL and Juvenile Justice Services in NC as well as in Utah. I have been certified as a DV provider to perpetrators as well as for victims, Sexual offender specialist, DBT provider, RAD- specialist, as well as for Substance Abuse specialist. I have done therapy with individuals, groups( adult, children) as well as couples. In my work at the prison I have had to develop resources to meet the specific needs of the IM's with whom I serve and have thought about publishing my information and resources. I have also had to develop my interventions and resources which I used while doing family preservations services as possible publications. I love teaching and do so by supervising MSW Interns through their practicum placement. Eventually I have thought about pursuing my DSW in order to teach and further my interests in developing skilled therapist who can work within our communities.
