The foundation of my work is the belief that everyone has a purpose and that if we all lived our purpose, we’d have peace and harmony everywhere. I’ve observed that the more one’s home feeds their soul, the greater their ability to know and live their purpose. It all stems from my happy childhood living in a charming historic home. One day, on the way to my grandparents, we drove down a street with historic homes like ours, but they were falling apart. I felt sad because I could see the beauty in the houses behind the disrepair. But what worried me the most was how difficult I imagined it was for the people living in those homes. I vowed to devote my life to understanding people and how their home environment affects them so that I could help them live more purposeful lives. I used my career path – mental health therapist, lobbyist, kitchen designer, construction project manager, landlord, auctioneer, and real estate broker – to study people and their homes from multiple angles. By participating in over 480 residential and commercial real estate transactions, I have honed my ability to hear my clients’ souls. I created the Soul’s Home Alignment Plan to help my clients clarify their purpose and hear what their soul is calling them to do about their home. When the soul directs them to buy or sell, we focus on the spiritual purpose of their move. For example, for one client it was to transition to adulthood by selling a home her parents said she should buy, rather than one she wanted. For another it was to help heal from post-traumatic stress by purchasing a home where she felt safe. For other clients, the Soul’s Home Alignment Plan has revealed that their soul is seeking to break up with a toxic boyfriend, change careers, or renovate instead of moving at that time. I find immense satisfaction when I’ve helped someone live their purpose more fully because I know I’m doing my part to create a more peaceful and harmonious world. I LOVE being a part of their soul’s journey whether I’ve helped a client see that their soul is calling them to do something other than move or, helped them sell or buy their Soul’s Home.
