This has allowed me to learn how to reach different types of people. I received my Undergraduate and Graduate degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2007. My internships while in school were the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in Columbia, SC working with Victims Advocacy and as a liaison with the LGBTQ+ population. I used my time to research the correlation between “incorrigible youth” and domestic violence in the county. My other internship allowed me to work with the LGBTQ+ youth population and was a liaison between Palmetto AIDS Life Support Services (PALSS). I have worked within the Foster Care System for a total 6 years, between South Carolina and Washington D.C. I've been working in the clinical setting for the past six years. I work with Depressive and Anxiety disorders, Bipolar and Mania, Trauma, Personality Disorders, self-esteem, and LGBTQ+ issues, Poly/Kink among other issues. I am predominately utilizing an eclectic style of modalities; the help meet the client where they are. This includes, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure therapy, trauma narratives, Solutions and Strengths based therapies. I meet the clients where they are and help guide them through the storm. I am looking to relocate to Colorado this summer
