Since, it isn’t possible to take all my students to visit the Louvre in Paris, or hop on a plane for a field trip to the MET in NYC for an in person lesson, I plan to incorporate technology to provide unique and creative learning opportunities for my students, in addition to hands-on skill based transfer of professional level arts knowledge when teaching in person and virtually. As a professional artist for over 30 years in creative field and brand building, Susan Wickstrand is featured in galleries around the globe: Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Japan and Italy. Art teacher, creative director, and brand building experience. She has worked with Sanuk, Rip Curl, Dusters CA and various brands creating content and marketing strategies for collaborations. Susan Wickstrand currently has artwork on ABC's Emmy winning t.v. show, "Modern Family" and on NBC's "Parenthood". Susan Wickstrand is Rip Curl's "Artist of The Search" with her artworks appearing on bikini's, board shorts, and tank tops. Susan is also available for illustrative work for all brands combining their images with her creative content in oil & encaustic collaborative collages for branding, advertising, SNS Sites, POS, and merchandising materials. Specialties: Site specific large scaled Commissioned Paintings for public art & private residences. Apparel development, brand building.
