I operate from a clinic space in Miranda, a suburb in Southern Sydney, and I also provide video or phone consultations for clients. I absolutely love working as a psychologist, as I enjoy connecting with others, helping people move towards their values and goals, and becoming un-stuck. I came to psychology later in life, having been a registered nurse for 25 years. As a nurse, I spent the majority of my career working as a breast cancer consultant, and this experience further fuelled my desire to study to become a psychologist. In my practice, I help adults and adolescents find ways to manage their worry, anxiety and stress to enhance their ability to enjoy life to the fullest. Due to my nursing experience, I enjoy working with clients who have/have had a cancer diagnosis or chronic health concerns, and I have a special interest in social anxiety (difficulty in social settings, performance anxiety). I work with clients to help them uncover unhelpful thinking patterns and identify helpful ways to move forward.
