In my late twenties, I discovered I loved exercising and thought I would pursue a career as a Physical Therapist, so off to college I went, but being a Physical Therapist was not meant to be; however, it directed me to my current career in healthcare. Reflecting back I realized, while I am not an Engineer in the the traditional sense, I am an Engineer in Healthcare. I ensure processes are followed and that I am in compliance with regulations. I effectively communicate with the multiple stakeholders, and I understand and follow a budget. Most importantly, I am a strong team player. The one thing I know, healthcare always evolves; therefore, I will always be on a journey of learning ways to improve myself and the organization I work for!
