We have a number of opportunities for Mental Health Transport Assistants to work as part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working from North and South sites on a local and National basis. The team are responsible for the safe transportation of service users diagnosed with mental health conditions who may display challenging behaviour. The service users are detained legally under the Mental Health Act and may demonstrate both physical and verbal aggression. The role is physically demanding, and specific training will be provided.
