Sue Johnson Email & Phone Number | This year, 2014, I again was asked to participate in a project for the state of Indiana along with other Indiana China Painters. Our 1st Lady,Karen Pence,began an art foundation for Riley Hospital. She invited several Indiana China Painters to participate with her in this special project, by painting Peony Bowls. These bowls were presented at a special luncheon at the J.W.Marriott, hosted by Mrs. Pence, and sales of the Peony Bowls followed . I had the pleasure of painting two of the bowls that were presented . All the proceeds from the sales of the luncheon and the bowls were donated to the development of the art foundation at Riley Hospital. It has been an honor to participate twice in doing an art project for the state of Indiana. Being an artist and being involved in artistic endeavors , especially painting, is a part of my DNA . I am passionate about Jesus Christ being my Lord ,about family, and about art. These three are first in my life and then other things follow.
