To receive, investigate and responded to Customer complaints in line with procedure and on occasions visited tenants to gain further information to assist the preparation of a satisfactory outcome. Assisted with the writing of Business Plans and risk registers. Managed and monitored the use of Sub Contractors against the availability of in-house labour. Investigated and dealt with any Health and Safety Issues.Responsible for day to day provision of a full range of clerical / administrative functions. To supervise and co-ordinate the activities of administration staff whom were site based across the North West, carry out yearly personal development reviews, identify training needs and develop them to enhance their career prospects. To provide a clerical support to a busy Heating Section and work under pressure and to strict deadlines. Provide an end to end service to the residents of Manchester for system failures, emergency / non emergency situations. The planning of workload for operatives in a timely manner, ordering of materials for repairs, and then to process and cost each individual job ticket via the computerised systems. To deal with any customer complaints, verbal and written in a timely manner and as per procedure, at all times looking to minimise costs to the business. During this time I was given an honorarium to undertake some of the duties of Technical Officer. The additional duties associated with this were to specify and control sub contract activity from the issuing of the work to the accurate preparation of invoicing documents and process for payment. To correctly cost and charging the relevant schedules of rates to all jobs and to provide information to monitor productivity and performance, and monitor financial information in identifying anomalies and arrange for rectification and investigation, Successfully gained promotion to Senior Administration Officer. To provide clerical support including processing of documents utilising manual and computerised systems. Deal with payroll queries and keep accurate records of annual leave, sickness etc and supervision and training of new staff. Transferred to alternative section within business to gain additional skills. This was a twelve month YTS but issued a permanent contract after 5 months. Carrying out general administration duties, filing, computer skills, whilst undertaking day release at college to complete B-Tech General and National Certificate.
