I have worked both in creative and senior management roles, responsible for making strategies and executing plans as Programming Head, Creative Head, Director and Producer. While teaching Electronic and Digital Media to students for the last four years I have been in constant engagement with the local,national and global changes in the audience preferences content consumptions. In the first phase of my career, I have directed and produced all kinds of TV genres, both fiction (daily soaps, telefilms, short films) and nonfiction (game shows, talk shows, reality shows, TV commercials) both nationally and internationally. I have developed a very sound understanding of crafting the content to influence the viewers emotionally. After joining Zee Bangla as Programming Head in 2006, I had been leading a big team.Training is among my core strengths and my winning team at Zee Bangla was the result of identifying, empowering and unleashing the creative and managerial talent of the individual team members. I have been very successful in comprehending the rural-urban psyche in the context of TV and OTT audience preferences both in quantitative and qualitative research domains. Due to my film school background and technical and production related experience, I have gained a thorough understanding of the creative, managerial, technical, budgetary and production related spheres. This holistic view of Television has given me a unique advantage to inspire and guide the core cross-functional team of a GEC. My international experience as a filmmaker and producer has given me valuable insights and a comprehensive global view of the entertainment industry.
