While studying at Penta, I was a member of DECA, a career and technical student organization for business students with more than 228,000 members in all 50 U.S. states and 7 other countries. This is where my real love for marketing started. As a junior and senior, I competed in the Entrepreneurship Innovation Plan event in which students created business plans for their original business ideas. Both years I qualified for the International Career Development Conference. As a senior, I was a finalist at ICDC, meaning my plan was considered one of the top 10 in the world.
