I also advise art galleries, collectors, and artists, on the sale and acquisition of art, relationships with auction houses, and I have litigated cases involving the authenticity, title, provenance and appraisals of fine art. I provide outside general counsel services to art clients, and am the General Counsel to the Appraisers Association of America. I have also been included for the second year in the Chambers and Partners rankings for US HNW Art & Cultural Property and have achieved a Band 1 individual ranking. I am on the faculty of the NYU's Steinhardt School where I lecture on art law. I am also the past chair of the Art Law Committee of The Bar Association of the City of New York, and am co-president of the Board of Artists Space, an organization dedicated to the support of emerging artists.
