In that capacity, Steve was recently recognized by the Austin Business Journal as a Top Performer as elected by his peers. Also, Steve has performed the services of a private lender by using his own funds to finance 100 or more mostly residential real estate investments over a period of more than twenty years. Likewise, he has personally flipped over 60 homes throughout Texas and in other states. The combined experience of financing and flipping properties similar those financed by Nexus means that Steve is especially well suited to critically assess and support Nexus growth and operations along with providing guidance, support and mentoring to Nexus client base. Steve holds a large portfolio of long term real estate holdings primarily made up of single family and duplex’s that he has purchased over the years and occasionally sells and is still heavily invested in the Stock market all of which gives him a well-rounded understanding of investing, assessing risk, financing and real estate from the inside out and ground up.
