After many years developing the Management Information function in Employment Services I was been appointed as Senior Business Analyst, moving to this new and challenging DWP liaison role where I have been dealing with the variety of requests covering the whole of Remploy including both Enterprise Businesses and Employment Service Having joined Remploy in 1991 I have seen many changes to the business and have gained extensive knowledge of the business and non financial data. Working closely with the communications team ensuring full validation and procedural archiving for future cross referencing - Answers are normally held on record in the Hansard document, and can be quoted at any time. As a Member Nominated Director of the Remploy Pension Scheme, I am on both the main 'Board' and also the 'Administration' committee. Remploy Employment Services is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist employment support for disabled and disadvantaged people. To compliment the support we offer to disabled people, we have developed a wide range of solutions that will support employers to successfully achieve the inclusion aspects of their CSR agenda and a diverse workforce. We have an extensive branch and office network across England, Scotland and Wales, providing job seekers, employers and partners with access to our services. Over the last four years, we have found jobs for more than 45,000 disabled and disadvantaged people, and with over 65 years’ experience, we are the trusted specialist disability partner to businesses, organisations, and service providers. My previous position within Remploy was to head up a department of 8, with national responsibility for the non-financial aspect of the business. As we are an organisation that deals specifically with people who have either a disability or a complex barrier to gaining employment - the non financial side is extremely important, and links directly to the funding we receive both from the DWP (Department of Work and Pensions) and the ESF (European Social Fund) amongst others. Regularly involved in budget preparation and monitoring, dealing with regional directors on forecasts and performance management issues.
