For 10+ years starting In 2002 I worked at the University of Phoenix (UPX) and in 2007 moved to the parent company of UPX the Apollo Group. I enjoyed my time there and was repeatedly promoted with increasingly large areas, number of reporting personnel and levels of responsibility.. In 2013 I moved to T-systems managing the Unix, Windows, Linux, Storage and Backup Teams supporting VW Group of America/Canada. It has been an interesting transition to working from mainly US corporations to a true multinational giant. The roles and levels of responsibility have increased which makes it much more rewarding and challenging especially managing the complexities of near shore operations in Mexico combined with local resources working together to support a large client with tight SLAs all while communicating directly or in teams to persons in Germany, Mexico and India. In 2018 I was promoted to Service Delivery Manager over all North American Business for Volkswagen Group of North America. Currently this is a 5 year 20+ million dollar account that encompasses the majority of all infrastructure for VWGoA. In my 22 years in the military I have held a number of positions both as an enlisted soldier and as an officer. I enjoy the military more as a calling than a job. I have served overseas in Iraq during 2004 thru 2006 and Kuwait in 2010 thru 2011. I have worked in Artillery, Intelligence, Civilian Affairs, PSYOP with a concentration in operations and command..
