Somewhere in the middle of those 7 years I lived in Naples, Italy; where I ate a lot of pasta, learned a little bit of Italian, made friends from all over the world and decided that creativity was my thing. After that I moved to Madrid for almost a year. I Loved the city, loved the culture (tapas and cañas), loved their way of thinking creativity, and learned a lot about women's empowerment since the agency I worked was lead by a woman I really admire. When I moved back to Colombia my goal was to really make a positive impact with my ideas, not just from a brand's point of view, but from a people's point of view. I'm convinced that creativity and innovation have the power to make people's lives, our society and the world better (ohh the cliché, but I really do believe that.) After 9 years working in advertising agencies I did a shift in my career and started discovering the beautiful world of UX as a Content Writer at Mercado Libre. Not everybody actually knows what that means, and the truth is I'm still discovering it. What I can tell you is that I'm loving the power of words and of keeping it short! At this point you might be asking yourself, why the shift of career path? Well, I really needed the work life balance the tech industry offers and the adversiting industry (sadly) lacks of. And I also wanted to challenge myself to learn new skills that hopefully will open new door in the future.
