I worked as a Flight Product Assurance/LEOP enginner at DLR GfR mbH, a company of DLR (German Space Agency), for Galileo Project in the last years. I also had an Internship in Thales-Alenia Space (hosted in Altec S.p.A.) in Turin (Italy) and was involved in the Concurrent Design Facility in ESA-Estec in the Netherlands for the Project Work of the Master-SEEDS. I worked at FAO (UN) as an Engineer Consultant from 2014 to 2015 and as a Mechanical Engineer from 2013 to 2014 in Cyprus. I obtained my MSc Aerospace Engineering degree - with Merit - from the University of Manchester in 2012. Prior to completing my Master’s, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree (Second Class Honours (Upper Division)) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey, in 2011. I have experience in using a variety of engineering software & tools such as all Galileo operations and maintenance tools and for example ANSYS (Fluent & ICEM CFD) which I used them during my graduate and post-graduate degree work and final research projects on computational fluid dynamics. I have been able to develop a good aptitude for multidisciplinary team work through active participation in group projects and also extra-curricular pursuits. I am very comfortable in a multicultural environment; as an Italian with an international family background, I have the good fortune to be able to work in several languages. I am completely fluent in English, having completed all my tertiary studies in the UK. I also speak Spanish, Greek, Russian and little German.
