In 2014, She graduated from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) with a Bachelor of Media Arts and Production and the following year began freelancing as a videographer & photographer. Sophie made her directing debut with her award winning short 'Peach' (2019) and short comedic documentary 'Inspire me' (2022), officially selected at Sydney Film Festival, SLAMDANCE and Winner of best short Documentary at Australian Independent Film Festival. Sophie Produced her debut feature Evicted: A Modern Romance winner of the audience choice award at Sydney Film Festival 2022
