I have the ability to change, learn quickly and work hard without exception and am looking forward to new challenges. I’m currently working at Thames Water. As a content design executive, it’s my job to create content that’s relevant and useful. I work with subject matter experts (SME) to make complicated information easier to understand. I work on a variety of projects to produce content that’s accessible to all. Before Thames, I spent six years as a content designer at Reading Borough Council. I had the opportunity to help shape and establish our content strategy, introducing the concept of content design to stakeholders across the business. Prior to that, I worked in private sector copywriting and digital project management. Outside of work, I run a small business, Big Happy Designs, with my best friend. We design and make colourful jewellery, the brighter and bolder the better. I help to organise local markets (Reading Indie Market and Reading Etsy) for fellow small businesses. It combines my passions for creativity, colour and championing indie business.
