The world of start-ups proved to be a mixed bag - a successful investment round and securing state funding to match (2012), was a great feeling of achievement, however, a change in family circumstances pushed me to return to larger more financially stable settings in the next stage of my career. Defining digital roadmaps and product visions for Executive Management, connecting Founders with Angels followed by a stint with an online gambling company bringing them to new markets with a multi-currency implementation of their existing platform comprised some of my experiences before returning to HERE Technologies. At HERE, I initially worked between Engineering and Marketing & Sales, where the backing of Executive Leaders allowed us to deliver cross platform experiences leveraging the best parts of HERE's offering. These demos were used in the Sale of HERE to BMW, Daimler and Audi. A switch in focus at HERE demanded someone build a team to support the Automotive HW needs of the company. Managing thousands of HW parts and over a dozen test vehicles across the Globe, I have put in place tools and processes to leverage the data that testers and developers are producing in their day to day activities, bringing teams closer together and removing duplicated efforts. This was followed by an opportunity to return to a hybrid product/engineering role with a focus on bringing location intelligence to resource constrained devices.
