The combination and diversity of my academic and professional background made me strongly believe that movement, dance and creative play can be a unique, powerful, non-threatening and age appropriate therapeutic medium. As a dance movement psychotherapist, I am fascinated exploring the psychosocial aspect of movement. I am committed to creating innovative and inclusive therapeutic projects for vulnerable young people, to foster a sense of belonging and community. I am most proud of the three innovative inclusive therapeutic dance projects that I directed for young people with disabilities within one of the biggest international dance platforms in Europe and I included for the first time in the history of this international forum people with disabilities and through the projects they were seen and heard as performers. I am also proud of the fact that I set up Dance Movement Psychotherapy service as a new innovative therapeutic provision in the largest specialist school for children and adolescents with ASD in Europe. I have excellent presentation, teaching, team work, organisational and management skills. In terms of my personal qualities, I am dedicated, reliable, motivated and willing to take initiative. I am talented, passionate, enthusiastic, creative, intuitive and imaginative. I am also positive, warm, open, undefended, supportive and naturally able to relate both verbally and non-verbally.
