I have enjoyed working closely with the immigrant community of San Diego as an immigration paralegal to help stop their deportations for over 7 years. Having written countless narrative declarations, conducting research and filed applications for asylum, cancellation of removal, and bond requests with the Immigration Court in a fast-paced environment. Although the immigration system has been tough on many, you can always count on me to give it my dedication and attention to detail to get the work done. I am happy to say that I have helped over hundreds of families obtain their green cards and work permits. I am pleased to have been able to take a part in the care and supervision of the unaccompanied Central American minors sheltered at the San Diego Convention Center. These children have experienced distress from their ordeals and my goal was to help provide them with trauma-informed care and report any behavior or medical issues to provide them with the support needed. I now look forward to expanding my career into other field of humanitarian service work and in protecting the environment. I have experience in case management, trial preparations, trainings, travel itineraries, creating office questionnaires, writing declarations, data entry, and creating office questionnaires. I am bilingual in Spanish language.
