DCP Project (April 2005) Specification of gearbox oils and seals suitable for use in aggressive conditions – UK based nuclear project. INEOS Silicas - Project Caviar (October 2004 – April 2005) Upgrade of existing gel washing equipment and installation of new in-house spray drying facility – generation of procurement documentation for new facility. Victrex plc, Hillhouse International – MF3 and IHC projects (September 2004) New polymer extrusion and compounding lines installed in existing buildings with minimum disruption to ongoing production in adjacent areas. – compilation of turn over packages and expedition of documentation. Undergraduate Placement: Variety of projects involving Electrical and Mechanical Services design and procurement for Military Accommodations, Hospitals and University Facilities. Working on site at AstraZeneca in Macclesfield. Three months spent conducting surveys of the buildings on site, amending existing CAD drawings and creating missing layouts in preparation for a full datacomms upgrade of the site. This involved working in clean areas and gave experience in the processes required to gain access to certain areas and the risks involved.Preparing documents for handover for the McCulloch FPSO vessel as industrial experience prior to starting University.
