Sif Gudbrandsdottir is a As a clinician and researcher, I have a longstanding interest in Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) and immunohaematology. In 2014, I was the co-founder of Danish Studygroup for Benign Haematology. The primary objective is to increase awareness of diseases within the field of benign haematology through educational symposia and national guidelines for treatment. I have expanded my field to covering lymphomas with a particular focus on treatment with autologous stemcell transplantation and implementing treatment with CAR-T-cells at our site. In 2023 I became head of Departement of Hematology, SUH Roskilde. While still doing some clinical work, my primary focus is now the development of the department and education of staff and patients, so that we continously provide the high quality care in the good working environment that we are known for and proud of.
