Few hard problems that I tackled alongside couple of other team leads: - Distributed joins and distributed query optimization. - Early conflict - lockfree distributed transaction - Eventual consistency based active-passive WAN replication - Distributed Network Encryption in hypervisors. - Scaling Elasticsearch to ingest 1 million msgs/sec in a 5 node xLarge AWS cluster. Technical Skills: - Modified Apache Spark extensively and implemented CBO in 2.0 from ground up. - Core Java, Scala, Python - Database query engine. - Concurrent and multi-threaded programming. - Scalable distributed and concurrent data structures - Data replication, partitioning techniques and distributed transactions - Distributed , low latency and high throughput computing. - TCP/IP, NIO protocols, serialization techniques
