Shira Kogan is a I am a social impact leader skilled at building cross-sector programs that meet diverse stakeholder goals and generate tangible results. I have 10 years of experience across strategic planning, partnerships, and people & project management. I am also a Master of Public Administration graduate dedicated to innovative, equitable approaches to complex problems. My background is primarily in cross-sector partnerships. I began my career as a Nonprofit Relationship Manager at LinkedIn and then moved to the nonprofit side as the Director of Corporate Partnerships at The Trevor Project. In that role, I grew my team from three people to nine and drove an increase in revenue from corporate donations by 800% – from 3M in FY17 to 27M in FY22. This powered Trevor’s expansion from serving 60K youth a year to 300K+. I then went back to school to study public policy, as I am passionate about the role of the public sector in driving social change: aligning incentives across organizations, facilitating collective action across sectors, and thus creating the conditions for deeper systemic change together.
