I started my journey with Block in 2018, while finishing my master's degree, when the Account Management team was in its startup phase. The team began with only ten individuals, including myself. Starting on a newly created team is an area that I thrive! While I have transitioned to the Cash App side of Block, I am lucky to work on a team that has also experienced rapid growth! In my current role, I get to understand and help customers through their feedback, which transitions into impactful work with cross functional teams. Luckily, I enjoy being challenged, I enjoy working cross functionally, and most importantly, I love growth even when it feels uncomfortable. Leadership in a growing tech environment is not for everyone. It's wildly fast pace and you have to be extremely adaptable. Plans change, teams change, there are reorgs and new leadership, all while people are working on their own career journey. I am lucky to have 20 years of leadership experience and the flexibility and adaptability I have exhibited on my own professional journey, has made me a better contributor and lead.
