When not working, Shelley enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her two children, ages 8 & 10. Shelley also has a great love of animals especially dogs and donates 1 percent of all of her commissions to the Humane Society. Her beloved chocolate Labrador Maddie, who died in 2012, was often pictured in her business cards because, like people, Shelley believes that everyone deserves a good home.
