Within the internship I am gaining extensive exposure branding events from start to finish (Social media, Marketing, and the planning process itself). An event I am helping All Things Book 2019 showcase include WomenTalkBiz Annual Confab and Sonoma County’s Monthly Lecture Series.Work closely with the Event Coordinator of the Green Music Center. The tasks include planning and making reservations for the restaurant on site, Prelude and deal with Contracts for events. Some of the software I work with on a daily basis include Caterease, Live25, and Open Table.Being Education Vice President of my sorority comes with a lot of responsibilities. I was in charge of planning all our large scale events for 140+ women. The position also included being a member on the executive council of the Zeta Gamma Chapter at Sonoma State University. These two jobs taught me a lot more about the event planning process, discipline, and also how to be a strong leader.
