Sheena Bevitt Email & Phone Number | I am a learning and teaching focused academic and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) with 15 years experience of programme and module leadership with Business and Management masters and undergraduate students including international and corporate cohorts. I am the programme leader for the CIPD approved BA (Hons) Business Management (Human Resource Management) and the Business School Academic lead for placements and internships. Prior to entering Higher Education I gained a wide range of commercial experience in general management roles and then Human Resource Management positions in public, private and not for profit organisations. As a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development) I keep up to date with the business community and develop this through my research activity and work with commercial clients including recent work with the NHS and a local County Council. My research interests are around work place role transitions. My current focus is on how students develop work identities through work experience opportunities.
