What's that, you say?? Well, it's fun and exciting, mostly...but, really, it's very important to our students and our great city. I am building a curriculum based on the idea of "culinary literacy". Culinary literacy offers middle school students a chance to explore basic cooking techniques, food history and ethnology, nutrition and vocational opportunities. There's something for everyone! The big dream here is to create an exceptional model for middle years students that can be replicated throughout the district; giving kids a pathway to enter career-focused high school programs, and ultimately strengthen the work force of our rapidly growing city.
