Eventually I learned how to start the games myself using the command line. When I ran out of games I started playing around in DOS and discovered qbasic. I created my own first text based adventure and I was hooked. I've been using technology professionally now for 20 years. In that time I have experienced being an individual contributor up to founding a company itself. I prefer small teams working on an MVP or POC where I can creatively wear a couple of different hats, but really, the goal of the project matters more than particular role. I just want to help the team win. I am seeking an opportunity to positively impact society. In particular, I would love to contribute to a company accelerating innovation in medical research, research automation (NLP and data aggregation), workplace innovation (open marketplaces, or construction innovation (building cheaper more self sufficient buildings/homes). There are other world improving sectors I don't know and I look forward to learning about them.
