I bring to my work a passion for strengthening local food systems, promoting social and behavior change and fostering innovation. I deeply enjoy leading culturally diverse, multidisciplinary, creative teams in complex program environments. I enjoy the challenge and opportunity of the written word; recent efforts include contributing to the 2023 FAO report on the Status of Women in Agrifood Systems and serving as lead author for a forthcoming World Bank publication on promoting financial inclusion through resilience programs. I am a proud Wolverine and hold degrees from the University of Michigan (BA, Anthropology), Johns Hopkins University (MPH), Tufts University (Post-Grad, Food Systems); and (as of 2024) Georgetown University McDonough School of Business (Executive MBA). I serve on a county-wide food policy council and on the board of Directors for a local education-focused non-profit. As a working mom of twins and as a pet parent, my main hobby is playing taxi driver for the family; in recent times I have also enjoyed horse riding and golf lessons.
