Outside of client service, Serena managed PwC's national thought leadership initiatives as a part of the Health Research Institute, a dedicated research group that provides new intelligence, perspective, and analysis on major health-related business issues. Serena received her bachelor's degree in Social Ecology from the University of California Irvine and a Master of Public Health from Emory University.
