She has presented her work in a number of arenas including The Royal Society of Medicine. Seher's further international development portfolio includes working as a member of the Board of Trustees for international NGO, Doctors Worldwide. Seher's previous roles include working as an advisor to the Department of Health on developing health policy for drug treatment services and as Chair of the North West GP Trainee Forum. In recognition of her work, Seher received The Abbas Khan Memorial Award for Services to Medicine during The British Muslim Awards in 2014.
