Seckoy Walters Email & Phone Number | I am an individual new to the field of Early Childhood Leadership and have spent nearly the past 3 years studying the theories and practices that will shape education's future at Sheridan College. These past few years balancing both full-time school and work schedules, I am looking for an internship working with children ages 0-12 that will allow me to increase my professional capabilities and develop myself into an educator that can support students of all ages. I have completed two placement experiences in which I was able to work with children and professional educators to practice what I have learned and develop new strategies in the field firsthand. These experiences allowed me to develop many professional skills in a practical workplace setting including leadership, planning, and many of the general tasks associated with being an Early Childhood leader. I am a full-time student in the Honours Bachelor for Early Childhood Leadership program at Sheridan College. I am passionate about creating a positive learning environment for children, developing meaningful relationships with families, and discovering new and creative ways to support children’s learning and development regardless of their needs. I am also interested in innovation and how technology may be used to support the developmental needs of children with exceptionalities
