While I act as a Product Owner with a dedicated team for the Bridge, my role for Stream API is a more integrational one, as the product is developed by several different feature teams. The Bridge is currently in use for 15+ international clients for the everyday management of their hosted and managed TV service. I manage the roadmap and backlog and am in constant close contact with our internal and external stakeholders. I work very closely with my cross-functional team of front and backend engineers, UX and UI design and QA.As a Product Manager for multiplatform solutions, I managed Viacom's hybrid apps. My focus was MTV Play which was back then the global youth brand's state of the art VOD platform in Northern Europe. My daily focus was to align the needs of all stakeholders within the company for the app across all platforms and markets. I was responsible for the product backlog and the roadmap of the app and worked closely with the development team. Furthermore, I managed app stores across all relevant platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Samsung TV, …).I managed the interactive product portfolio of the brands MTV, Viva, Comedy Central & TMF in Northern Europe. These included native apps (iOS, Android), websites and hybrid products (HTML 5 apps). My daily work consisted of managing the product backlogs in a SCRUM environment, maintaining app store presences, overseeing SEO-measures, taking care of ad implementations and keeping an eye on the metrics and the big picture. My most important products were the MTV websites (mtv.de/ch/nl/be/dk/se/no/pl) and MTV Play (mtvplay.tv).As an external consultant, I monitored the digital transformation in the publishing industry and developed new concepts for existing and new products that matched Egmont's strategy.Mostly in cooperation with vm-people, I developed concepts for Alternate Reality Games and other transmedia experiences. This included developing ideas, writing storylines, developing gaming elements and being in charge of the experience/game while it was live/could be played. Example: ARG "Ich bin der Herr Deiner Angst", a viral game to promote the book with the same title by Stephan M. Rother (Rowohlt Verlag).I developed concepts for Alternate Reality Games and other transmedia experiences. This included developing ideas, writing storylines, developing gaming elements and managing the experience/game while it was live/could be played. My responsibilities also included the identification of networks and multipliers as well as developing and managing communities. Examples: ARG "Wer ist der Regler"​, a game to promote the thriller "Der Regler"​ by Max Landorff (Fischer), Transmedia Experience "Finding Becca"​, an interactive story to promote the youth book "Whisper Island" by Elizabeth George (Egmont INK).I managed the blog of Gamesload and their community on all social media presences. My responsibilities ranged from writing news about PC & Console games to SEO and Social Network analysis.I produced image videos and conference talk recordings for a publisher of IT magazines. I build up and managed the video team for the company.
