Sean Sharpe Email & Phone Number | I started in the drilling and blasting industry at the age of 19 at the local quarry (Eskett out side of Frizington). Started of as a general operative worked up to driller and when I got to the age of 21 got my blasting ticket’s to become an explosives engineer, I spent 17 years doing this in quarries and opencast’s nationwide. I had the pleasure of dropping the last iron ore chimney in Cumbria. I left the industry for 2 years and worked at Sellafield on the box encapsulating plant for Carillon as an item ganger. In 2000 I started back with Bam Ritchies as geotechnical and site investigation lead driller working on major projects, (Crossrail as foreman driller, Highbarns, chantry lane, chalk mine remediation as General foreman, Works Manager Hinkley Point C in charge of all drilling and grouting activity’s within the Kier Bam joint venture, Works Manager on Lower Thames Crossing site investigation. Currently working on Transpennine Rout Upgrade as General Foreman.
