From young, video games have always been a big part of my life. I've had so many enjoyable experiences with video games, from catching my first Pokémon to scoring that game-winning goal in FIFA. These experiences kindled my enthusiasm for video games, which led me to pursue a diploma in Game Development and Technology. During my time at Nanyang Polytechnic, I have worked on various projects involving many different fields of game development. During my Final Year Project, I worked with a team of artists and programmers to create a VR horror escape room game. I was in charge of graphics programming, one of the features I implemented allows the player to wipe the dust off a table, to reveal a clue underneath. During my internship with Continental Automotive Singapore, I worked with a team of artists and programmers to develop a driving simulation. To improve the realism of the simulation, I developed a pedestrian and traffic simulation using a variety of algorithms and techniques such as spatial partitioning, A* Pathfinding, finite state machine, and flocking behavior.
