I have a strong understanding of Agilent GC/MS instrumentation, and a familiarity with DANI GC/HS and Thermo Fisher GC. I have a deep knowledge of the most widely used PKI Chromatography Data System software packages for GC/MS applications; TotalChrom and Turbomass. I am also familiar with multiple CDS software packages from competitor companies, including: Empower 3 & 4, Clarity and some familiarity with OpenLab. In my position I am responsible for having knowledge of how to test Hardware, Software and Firmware, separately and in combination in a flexible and efficient manner. I am very familiar with the software development tool JIRA. Part of my job is tracking bugs in hardware/software development, relaying these issues to engineers and developers, and working to find solutions/workarounds for any customers impacted by these issues if they occur in a shipped product. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in General Chemistry from Central Connecticut State University. Through two years of experience in undergraduate research, I gained experience developing projects, utilized many fundamental bench top methods employed by professionals in the industry, and gained knowledge of many key instrumentation techniques (primarily NMR, IR, UV/vis, ICP-MS and GC/HPLC/MS).
