Educated in England, and qualified with a BTEC National Certificate in Building Services Engineering (HVAC), I am currently a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand (CMEngNZ, CPEng) and member of CIBSE (MCIBSE). I have gained knowledge across a broad spectrum of experiences. I approach engineering from a holistic viewpoint whilst keeping an eye on the detail. Complementing strong engineering design and project management capabilities, I have specialist skills in diagnosis, understanding and remediation of defects in non-performing building services systems, optimisation and control, experience as Engineer to the Contract under NZS3910 and as Expert Witness for clients through mediation, civil and environmental cases. In a recent exciting career change, I have set up Aquair Ltd to enable me to concentrate on delivering what I do best, whilst providing more flexibility for myself and my family. I am passionate about the Building Services industry and have a genuine care for the quality and success of my work, relying on solid fundamental engineering principals to find new or innovative ways to achieve best outcomes and share that knowledge and experience with my clients.
