Scott Nichols Email & Phone Number | I have been working in education for 11 years. I originally joined Okeechobee County School Board as a bus driver while I finished up my degree in History. After achieving my Bachelors of Science in History in 2012, I pursued the History Teacher position at our local high school. From there I was able to become a pilot 1:1 teacher in my second year teaching and was awarded our school district's "Golden Mouse Award" for my use of technology in the classroom. I have since moved into the world of Advanced Placement, teaching AP World History, AP U.S. Government and Politics, and AP Macroeconomics. In 2016 I joined Educational Testing Service in Salt Lake City as a Rater for AP U.S. Government and politics. I believe that the role of a teacher is that of a forever learner. As I continue to learn I will continue to gain experience and knowledge to help students succeed in this ever changing world.
