As a contract photographer for US News and World Report magazine, I covered stories in 48 US states. Over 30 photographic books have published images of mine. Over 25 gallery shows and exhibitions. While studying Political Science and Journalism at Indiana University, a career jump start came from winning the College Photographer of the Year Hearst Competition. My favorite phrase is: "Never Assume Anything". Besides photography, some of my favorite things include: camping, fishing, long bike rides and rehabilitating a 112 year old house.
