Before Kurdistan, I worked on Drilling & Well Testing Programs with Toxic Gas (H2S) work restrictions Internationally for 6 years - Azerbaijan, Nth Africa, Tunisia, Libya, Hungary, Spain, Norway, Denmark, UK & others. Prior to that, I worked for 14 years with KCA Deutag Drilling on SHELL Production Platform Installations in the North Sea. As you will see from my CV, I have gained invaluable International experience in the Middle East & North Region of Iraq & I am well versed in EHS Local & EHS Governmental Regulatory Requirements, have a strong understanding of the partnerships that need to be in place & upheld, familiar with all Cultural Sensitivities, familiarity with many of the Operators, 3rd Party Service Providers & Contractors too around the Regions & built up good relationships with all the afore-mentioned. Coupled with both my Advisory & Supervisory Rig-Site experience over the years, I have also overseen safe working practices on large scale Construction/Civil Projects for Chevron in Kurdistan, over three different Large Blocks - Sarta & Rovi in the North & Qara-Dogh further south near Sulaymaniyah - Supervising the Civil Construction projects with contactors whilst constructing all the new Well Pads, Pits, Lease Roads, etc & supporting Servicing infrastructure.
