I am currently seeking a position as a registered nurse in a critical care setting. Prior to attending nursing school I graduated with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and I worked in clinical settings of varying capacities. During this time I was able to learn basic clinical skills such as phlebotomy and EKG interpretation that will continue to serve me as I become a nurse. In addition, I was exposed to invaluable clinical experiences that have taught me how to keep calm under pressure and to focus on caring for the patient first and foremost. Attending Drexel’s Accelerated Career Program has taught me how to thrive under pressure and how to balance heavy workloads. Looking back on my experiences, I am now able to see how critical it is to be observant of the patients. I am also able to draw upon all of the information that I have learned to provide care at the highest level of my ability.
