After my graduation in ‘B.E. (Mechanical)’, I did ‘Master diploma in product and tool designing’ course because I found my interest in designing during my academics. In this course I got trained and hands on experience on 3D modelling software’s like CATIA, CREO, SOLIDWORKS, UG-NX, AUTOCAD and ANSYS. After this course I joined one of the good startups in Mumbai where I got trained in a new dimension i.e. Piping and instrumentation diagrams also known as P&ID and in many other technical things and new software’s. I got a chance to work in good projects with clients such as GS-EPS(South Korea), Tata Tinplate, BPCL, Amul Dairy, etc. Following are the details of my work experience. Software’s on which I work on: • COMOS. • MicroStation. • OpenPlant modeler. • OpenBuildings Designer. • AutoCAd Software’s on which I completed my Master Diploma: • Autocad • Catia • Creo • Solidworks • Ansys • UG-NX Roles and duties: • To attend meetings with clients to understand requirements and to provide technical support related to comos. • To resolve Tickets raised by clients and to give Admin and support service to the client. • I'm working on Comos software (Siemens) to draft smart P&ID and PFD and attach all related documents to objects, for clients such as Dangjin power plant (South Korea), BPCL, etc. • Apart from drafting of P&ID, I also work on Comos Admin to Create symbols, sheet layouts, base objects, base projects, relevant document upload and linking, rights management for end users,etc. • I'm also working on 3D designing projects for client TATA Tinplate, on MicroStation and Open buildings designer (Bentley systems). I model 3D equipment's with reference to 2D drawings provided by client and assembling them w.r.t plant requirement and to provide solution to the client. • Check and review all the drawings and also to take ownership of the design projects. • Thorough Knowledge on GD&T and drafting standards (like ASME) • To take out MTO (Material take off) BOQ (Bill of Quantity) for the project. • To give Comos user interface P&ID training to Clients such as AMUL (on-site) and also to Trainee Engineers.
