Since being in post, I have been involved in high level projects such as PACS re-procurement, capital purchase equipment installations and am involved in CDC programme board and steering groups for the region. I have been involved in the SE2 imaging network board and am part of the clinical reference group. More widely, I have been working with the Sussex AHP faculty in careers promotion. I have overseen the initiation of a new on-call system for CT. I was previously Lead reporting radiographer within the Queen Victoria Hospital. I started working here in November 2016. As well as reporting plain film, I was responsible for tutoring staff in CPD, updating all SOP and IRMER documentation for the trust. I am the lead RPS for the trust and liaise with the RPA and other RPS’ on all dose related incidents and matters. I deliver IRMER training for the NMRs at this trust and for those working in the MIU units in the High Weald area. I completed a management diploma in January 2019 which my current trust supported and funded. I previously worked Epsom & St. Helier NHS trust from 2004-2016. I worked there from qualification until 2016 and this site is where I gained most of my clinical experience and training. I have a PgD in clinical reporting of the appendicular & axial skeleton. I have many years worth of experience in general & A/E radiography, theatre and mobiles. I have 10 years experience in CT, DSA and MRI. I also have a PgC in administering intravenous injections of contrast agents.
